The Grand County Wildfire has evolved from “BeWildfireReady.org” into a successful 501(c)(3) organization with many beneficial programs created and executed with the goal of helping Grand County residents and visitors live more safely with the threat of wildfires. We are so thankful to the Grand Foundation for funding GCWC with seed money to create an identity, design an educational website, and purchase a tent/booth for community events. The Grand Foundation has supported GCWC since 2013, helping us engage the public during wildfire season with significant educational information and hazardous fuel mitigation efforts.
