The Grand Foundation is in the process of distributing this year's funds, putting our 15-year funding total at nearly $2 Million!

The Grand Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life in Grand County by proactively addressing current and future needs in the areas of Health & Human Services, Arts & Culture, Education, Amateur Sports and Environment.

We facilitate philanthropy by fostering and building donor relationships in order to act as a catalyst for community investment and involvement. Grand Foundation events raise awareness and funds that, combined with our donor advised funds and other planned giving initiatives, enable us to provide grants to nurture and support qualified local non-profits.

As growth continues to challenge the social infrastructure of our community and as a major local vehicle dedicated to raising funds for Grand County non-profits, we take our responsibility seriously to preserve and enhance our community – Give Where You Live, Work and Play.

Founded in 1996 as the Columbine Foundation, the foundation changed its name to the Grand Foundation in 2001 to highlight the fact that we are a community foundation serving all of Grand County - from Kremmling to Grand Lake to Winter Park.

Since 1996, the Grand Foundation has granted nearly $2 Million to qualified Grand County organizations. These organizations provide services and programs that touch thousands of lives in Grand County.
