The Granby Playground is a recreational center for the children who live in Granby. The Grand Foundation helped fence the playground with a grant for $5,000. Fencing is essential for a safe environment where parents don't have to worry about their kids running into the street.
Grand Foundation Grants over $7.3 Million in 20-Year History
The Grand Foundation is a philanthropic organization serving all of Grand County, Colorado. The Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life in Grand County by proactively addressing current and future needs in the areas of Health & Human Services, Arts & Culture, Education, Amateur Sports and Environment.
Grand Foundation events raise awareness and funds that, combined with our donor advised funds and other planned giving initiatives, enable us to provide grants to nurture and support the local community.
As growth continues to challenge our social infrastructure, the Grand Foundation serves as a major vehicle dedicated to raising funds for Grand County non-profit organizations.
Established in 1996 as the Columbine Community Foundation, the organization changed its name to the Grand Foundation in 2001. This change highlights the fact that we are truly a Community Foundation, serving all of Grand County, from Kremmling to Grand Lake to Winter Park.
Since 1996, the Grand Foundation, in collaboration with our Donor Advised Funds, has granted over $7.3 Million to more than 150 qualified Grand County organizations that provide essential services and programs, touching thousands of lives in Grand County.
